Zaid Adams is a highly experienced Food & Beverage and Hospitality professional with over 27 years’ experience. Zaid was born and schooled in Cape Town and attended The University of Cape Town in later years. He is passionate about all things South African. Zaid is a dynamic self-starter who leads-from-the-front, and has held Senior positions with some of the country's leading hospitality brands including Sun International, Taj Hotels, and The Royal Portfolio. Currently, Zaid serves as Director of a hospitality consultancy serving the Industry. He has extensive international hospitality experience having worked in the United Kingdom, Europe, and Africa. Zaid served on the board of FEDHASA and is nominated to the Chaine de Rotisseurs since 2007. Zaid joined StreetSmart as a director on 01 January 2019 and was appointed as Chairman in April 2021 after serving one term as Vice-chairman.
